Description

A warm welcome awaits you in this luxurious 5* guesthouse nestling deep in the rolling countryside on a small country road bordering Co-Down and Co-Armagh. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our wonderful garden from a quiet spot in the Garden Room or sink into a comfy sofa in front of a blazing fire in the Sitting Room where you can forget about the world outside. Enjoy a good nights sleep in any of the individually decorated bedrooms each with comfy super king beds complimented with luxurious bedding, wide screen LCD TV and beautiful modern on suite bathrooms. We love our food & cooking and we provide our guests with a three course seasonal menu using the best of local award winning products and the freshest of eggs from our own hens in the meadow and herbs from our garden. Our breakfast buffet includes home made Irish Breads, Preserves and Bottled Fruit. Joyce makes hot food to order on the Aga Stove, including the traditional Ulster Cooked Breakfast with award winning sausages and bacon and of course our Blackwell House hens provide you with freshly laid eggs. Email or call Joyce to book your Complimentary Cream Tea On arrival (between 3.00 and 4.00pm) Tuck into scrumptious, hot, freshly baked scones with ‘lashings’ of fresh Irish cream and homemade raspberry or strawberry preserves.
