The Waters Edge Guest House Information


Opened in 2015 and recently refurbished the Waters Edge is immaculately presented throughout . The Waters Edge Guest House exceptionally well appointed and offers our paying guests something a little different to those visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and the local surroundings. Set in one and a half acres of grounds with riverside frontage, this boutique guest house sits in a truly scenic environment. Whether it’s relaxing by the water’s edge , picnic and drinks , or taking in the tranquility of the surroundings in the grounds, your stay at the Waters Edge Guest House in Stratford-upon-Avon will be truly memorable . A river taxi runs from the end of the garden from April through to November to take you into the town of Stratford Upon Avon ,the birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history and set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside ,one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK. Breakfast can be taken in your room or outside on the terraces due to the Covid 19 pandemic ( weather permitting ,) We offer a full range of choice of breakfast including Vegetarian and gluten free . The Guest House are Winners of the Channel 4 TV program ‘Four in a Bed ‘ It is also rated 9.1 ‘Superb’ by visitors who’ve stayed with us and booked through 2018/2019 Our rooms are all en-suite and beautifully appointed with colour matched themes including; Twilight Black Savannah Green Purple Haze Ocean Breeze Blue Mocca Heaven Amber Sunrise Our subtle attention to detail with deep carpets underfoot, luxurious colour matched towels, bespoke shampoos, conditioners and fragrances will suprise and delight you .Home made cookies and a little box of chocolates to welcome you are the perfect touch

Orchard House is a 9 Bedroomed Detached property which was built in the 1980’s. It has a level gravelled parking area for up to 10 cars at the front of the property and adjacent to it. Ground Floor – Access is through the front of the house up a ramp or stairs , wheel chair access is possible across the whole of the ground floor The breakfast / dining area is accessed via the rear of the house again via a ramp. The ground floor, is level throughout. First Floor – Access to the ensuite bedrooms is via one flight of thirteen steps with a balustrade There are no further steps on the first floor. Second Floor – Access to the second floor is via one of 9 steps with a balustrade to the top loft based bedroom


  • Road from M40 (10.0 miles)
    The nearest motorway is the M40 (which is accessible from the North via the M42 or the South via the A40, M25), Junction 15 to the A429 direction Stratford: When entering town take the gyratory and follow signs to Wellesbourne over the bridge . The Waterside Guest House is located 500M along the TiddingtonRoad. See sign for Rayford Caravan Park, turn left and then left before the park itself. The Waterside Guest House is set in its own 1 1/2 acre of grounds at the end
  • Train from Stratford Upon Avon (2.0 miles)
    On exiting Stratford Upon Avon train station , taxi is £5-£7 , Alternatively it is 35-40 mins walk across the town centre . Then head to Clopton Bridge .After which take a left onto Tiddington road . After the golf course take a left at Rayford Park signs towards the river . Before the Park barrier take a left along a small tree lined road . Keep left whereupon you will see the sign for The waters Edge Guest House
