  • Road from From the A38 Devon Expressway (6.0 miles)
    Continue over the Tamar bridge into Cornwall and take a right turn at the Saltash services roundabout onto the A388 towards Callington/Launceston for 3 miles. At the roundabout take the first exit signposted Pillaton. (Look out for the brown sign for The Weary Friar Inn). Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles where you need to turn left (signposted for Pillaton with a small brown fork and spoon sign for The Weary Friar!) Once you enter the village our car park is on the left hand side.
  • Road from From Launceston (17.5 miles)
    Continue on the A388 for approximately 15 miles until you pass through St Mellion. Take a right hand turn signposted Pillaton and follow the road for approximately 2.5 miles. As you enter the village The Weary Friar car park is on the left hand side.
  • Road from From Tavistock (13.0 miles)
    Take the A390 to Callington for 10 miles then take the A388 to St Mellion. Once you have driven through St Mellion take a right hand turn at the roundabout towards Pillaton. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles. When you enter the village The Weary Friar car park is on the left hand side.
  • Road from From Liskeard (10.6 miles)
    Take the A390 for approximately 7 miles then take two right hand turns at the two roundabouts. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles into Pillaton. As you enter the village the car park is on the left hand side.
