Grosvenor Place Guest House Information

Description

Grosvenor Place guest house is a warm and friendly Georgian Town house that has been lovingly restored to offer accommodation in a historic building but with all of the modern comforts, including complementary high speed Wi-Fi, multichannel TV, and an optional hearty home cooked breakfast using the very best locally sourced ingredients. We are located in a cobbled side street, right in the heart of the City of Chester only a stone's throw from the racecourse . We are the last remaining guest house within the city's Roman perimiter wall. The shopping area is just 2 minutes walk away so are the many restaurants and bars. A quality Guest House offering a personal service, useful advice and local knowledge in a homely, relaxed atmosphere. We are accredited by quality & tourism and have been awarded a 3 star rating. Our beds have deep comfy mattresses and we use only Egyptian cotton sheets. All our rooms are en suite and are double or triple glazed. You can come and go as you please as you have 24 access to the Guest House. All we ask of our guests is that if the come back late they enter quietly to respect other guests' peace and quiet. Chester is a fantastic city steeped in history and culture. You can view and walk the City walls or visit Britain’s oldest amphitheatre or just pop next door to the Grosvenor Museum. Why not stroll along the River Dee or take a boat? Chester has a wealth of shops, boutiques and restaurants for you to explore. There are many events during the year, including regular race meetings, literary festivals and a bustling Christmas Market. If you wish to go a little further afield why not shop at the Designer Outlet Centre, visit Chester Zoo (England's largest) or take a trip to the stunning scenery on our doorstep in North Wales.
