Description

Heaps House is a family run business set in the heart of the village of Denby Dale, in West Yorkshire, just 8 miles from the Peak District National Park and the famous town of Holmfirth. It is ideal for those looking for both short and long stays in self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. Featuring a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, guests will find just about everything they need to cook up a treat. The characterful lounge has comfy sofas (sofa bed), a dining table, flat screen TV and a DVD player. Downstairs you will find the large luxurious bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and an indulgent bath. The bedroom, having access to a small private courtyard is spacious and peaceful. To enhance your stay we offer free Wi-Fi and off road parking for two cars. The property is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from Denby Dale Railway Station, and 5 minutes’ stroll from local shops, pubs and restaurants. Sheffield, Huddersfield, Leeds, Manchester and Wakefield can all be reached within a 30-minute drive. Please note that a security / damage deposit of £100 will be charged in the event that the property or its contents are damaged during your stay. If this is applicable, you will be notified with details and photographs of the damage prior to the charge being processed.

Directions

  • Road from M1 J37 (6.0 miles)
    Exit M1 J37 and take the 1st exit off the roundabout. Follow signs for A628. Take the 2nd exit (A628) off the roundabout. Continue to follow the signs for the A628 for the next three roundabouts. After 0.8 miles turn right onto Barnsley Road. Take the first right onto Silkstone Lane. Follow this road for 1.3 miles then turn left onto Lane Head Road. Continue for 3.3 miles then take a right turn onto Miller Hill. After 0.6 miles turn left onto Dearneside Road. You will find Heap
  • Road from M1 Junction 39 (5.0 miles)
    Exit M1 at Junction 39 and take the 3rd exit onto Denby Dale Road / A636. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit A636. Continue on this road through the village of Clayton West and Scissett. On entering Denby Dale, take the first left onto Miller Hill, then 2nd right onto Dearneside Road. You will find Heaps House at number 11A on the right hand side. Look out for the sign.
  • Train from Denby Dale Railway Station (0.5 miles)
    Head down the hill from the station. When you reach the main road turn left onto Wakefield Road. Continue down the hill and the first right turn onto Norman Road. Take the 2nd left turn onto Dearneside Road. You will find Heaps House 250m on the left hand side, almost opposite the junction with Kenyon Bank.
