We are a family run establishment who look forward to welcoming you into our home. Please click here for a view of our rooms and facilities. A full English or continental breakfast is offered. There is off road parking available to the rear of the building accessed via an archway between 60 and 61 High Street, turn right into our car park. Fareham began as a Saxon village originally called Ferneham - meaning the village by the ferns. Well known for its tanning industry in the late 17th century and later for its iron foundry and brickworks. Eventually becoming a market town Fareham is now well known for its beautiful Georgian buildings, excellent shopping facilities and an array of superb restaurants. We are ideally situated on the South coast between Portsmouth and Southampton; attractions within a 20 minute drive of our premises include Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, West Quay shopping centre - Southampton, Spinnaker Tower, Ferneham Hall, Chichester Festival Theatre and Whiteley Village Shopping Centre Trafalgar Guest House operates a no-smoking policy.

Accessibility

Situated in the historic high street in Fareham, the guest house is the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting for business or leisure. Located in the town we are a 2 minute walk from the main shops and restaurants. The Small B&B is situated on a hill with a steady incline from the shops. We offer 9 bedrooms, 3 of which are on the ground floor all with ensuite facilities. Upstairs rooms are situated on the next level accessed via a wide stair case with balustrade. Breakfast is served down stairs between 7am and 10 am weekdays and 8 am and 10am Saturdays and Sundays. We can cater for varying dietary requirements with notice. We look forward to welcoming you. Directions

  • Road from M27 JUNCTION 11 (1.5 miles)
    From Junction 11 follow to Fareham Central, Stay in left hand lane and take the third exit on the Delme Roundabout in to East Street, Turn right at the end of East Street into High Street. Trafalgar Guest House is half way up on the right hand side.
  • Train from Fareham Train Station. (2.5 miles)
    On foot as you exit Station walk to roundabout go past Fire Station on the left then turn into West Street, Go all the way to the end of West Street then turn left into High Street and we are half way up on the right hand side.
  • Coach from Coach Station (1.0 miles)
    From Coach Station turn right on West Street walk to end then turn left into High street. We are half way up on trhe right hand side.
