The lounge at Strawberry Cottage in Macclesfield is comfortably furnished with a double bed settee, with a television / DVD player, and French windows leading onto a private patio.
There is a lovely fitted kitchen, with a microwave, fridge, oven and stove, and a range of utensils.
The comfortable twin bedroom is traditionally decorated. The bathroom has also been fitted to ensure that those with mobility issues have good access.
All areas are carpeted, and there is central heating, so guests are assured of a comfortable stay at the cottage.
The area is tranquil, but with plenty of activities and sites to be enjoyed in the surrounding area. The Mow Cop Castle, for example, is owned by the National Trust and offers unbeatable 360 degree views. The Jodrell Bank Science Centre is the visitor's centre for the world famous Lovell Radio Telescope and the Jodrell Bank Observatory. With exhibitions, galleries and extensive grounds. The spa town of Buxton is also nearby. A lovely town that is home to the spring water and the Buxton Opera House.
