Burnley House Information
Description
Busy city life can play havoc on your health. A weekend in the country can relax you and revitalise you. Burnley House does that with good food, oood walking areas and fantastic atmosphere. . Only 40 miles North of York this lovely old house situated in the beautiful village of Hutton-le-Hole on the edge of the North York Moors, is ideally situated for market towns, shopping in the fabulous city of York, the coast and, of course, the moors. Here you are free to visit the numerous stately homes, go to the Jurassic coasts of Whitby and Scarborough or simply wander the moors and see the wonderful hidden dales and villages. Oh there's so much to do! After using up all that energy why not enjoy a delicious meal and a drink in one of the wonderful eateries that are in abundance around here. This time of year Spring is on the way, the birds are starting to pair up and in no time at all the Farndale Daffodils will be out. These are the largest collection of wild native daffodils in the country. Have a look at www.real-whitby.co.uk/farndale-daffodil-walk? to see where they are and download a map of the walk. Although in the past the North York Moors Authority have arranged a special bus to take the hundreds of visitors to see them the NYMA never told the daffodils and so they did not always flower at the right time. Thats the trouble with wild things they have a mind of their own. For other current offers see the SPECIAL OFFERS tab.
