PLEASE NOTE: Check in is between 3PM AND 8PM - Early check-ins available only by prior arrangement. Please do let us know if you are planning to arrive after 8pm and we can convey the self check-in information to you. Darwin’s Town House ~ A late 18th century Georgian town house completely refurbished in 2016. Our 20 bedroom boutique B&B is privately owned and we take pride in making our guests feel welcome and at home. We are located steps from the River Severn Path and moments from the 'Original Shrewsbury One Off' with its town centre's black and white Tudor buildings. With its higgledy-piggledy streets with names you want to say out loud, a river that scoops up the town in a meandering loop featuring an eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and high street stores. A mix of the very old and the very new, the quirky and the one offs. PARKING We are located steps from St Julian Friars long stay car park which is £10 all day and £5 all day on Sundays. BREAKFAST We offer a full breakfast menu created with locally-sourced ingredients. LUNCH AND DINNER We have two sister restaurants within a short stroll. The Loopy Shrew and Darwin's Kitchen, both serve modern English cuisine, whilst, offering a 10% family discount off your final bill when you stay with us. THE SNUG A fully stocked honesty bar where you can relax and unwind or finish off the days last tasks. THE LOUNGE A beautiful octagonal room overlooking the garden with a fire, soft comfy chairs, books and games. Featuring a beautiful ornate plaster ceiling attributed to the notable Joseph Bromfield, who once lived here. THE GARDEN Our beautiful Garden is a secret hideaway, perfect to relax in and enjoy a glass of something.

There is a ramp to all garden rooms, sturdy hand rails and bannisters throughout the building. We have one bedroom located within the garden rooms that has disabled access and disabled access into the en-suite shower. There is no disabled access into the main house, however we can deliver a breakfast tray to your room and assistance is available.
