Accessibility

Access Statement For Dovers House:- There is ample off road car parking for our guests directly outside the main entrance to the house. All Guests accommodation is on the first floor. All rooms are ensuite. The breakfast room is on the ground floor with a 25mm step through the French doors. However, access to the bedrooms can only be gained by one flight of stairs consisting of 15 steps. There are ample car spaces for all our guests. Further advice will be given on arrival. The car park surface is Tarmac. There is one speed bump right on the entrance. Lighting is available in the car park during evenings, this is controlled by timers and is usually switched off by midnight, unless otherwise requested or thought necessary to keep switched on

Directions

  • Road from A38/ Tamar Bridge (15.0 miles)
    From the Tamar Bridge on the A38 go through the villages of Landrake and Tideford. At the Trerulefoot roundabout (just after you go under a railway bridge) turn left onto the A374. Continue for about a mile turn right - A387 to Hessingford & Looe. At Widegates the A387 turns right to Morval, stay on the main road the B3253, after Tregoad Park on the left we are at the top of the hill. There are currently diversion signs at Widegates due to road works but we are still accessible on the B3253.
