Inchbae Lodge Inn Information

Description

Inchbae Lodge Inn is set in a stunning rural location in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, just a short distance off the main route of the North Coast 500, 30 minutes from Ullapool and 40 minutes from Inverness. Ben Wyvis is a mile west, with 20+ Munros within 1/2 hour drive and The Fannichs 5 miles away for more adventurous explorers, climbers and winter walkers. We are also the ideal stop off to break your trip to the Islands, such as the Isle of Lewis. We can help you organise a complete itinerary of things to see and do, be it fishing at a Troutmaster Trout Loch or a visit to our local Glen Ord Distillery. Wild trout and salmon fishing can be arranged as well as exclusive stag & hind stalking on two of the finest Estates in the Highlands. . For bird & wildlife lovers we regularly see red kites, osprey and buzzard in our large garden, where goosander, oyster catchers and heron are regular visitors. A twenty minute drive west is Corrieshalloch Gorge where the river drops 150 feet over the Falls of Measach and Rogie falls is a 15 minute drive east, with walks and spectacular cascades from the bridge viewpoint, where salmon can be seen leaping in season. Other local attractions include nature reserves and The Red Kite Centre. Lunches and bar snacks, as well as evening meals, are available in the snug bar or summer dining conservatory with lovely mountain views of Ben Wyvis. Enjoy a 'refreshment' in our beer garden which drops gently down to the banks of the Blackwater River. Alternatively, relax in the lounge with woodburner and enjoy a dram or fine local Ale. However you choose to spend your time, Graeme and Amanda will do everything they can to ensure you receive Highland hospitality at its finest
