The Garden Room is situated at the front of the house overlooking the garden and churchyard of St. Mary's. Recently refurbished with new bedroom furniture and a 32" flat screen TV, this is a large comfortable double bedroom with shower en-suite. There is also a comfy two-seater leather settee. Tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk, cookies, sweets and complimentary sherry and mead are on hand to ensure an enjoyable stay.
A range of reading material is available, from leaflets and brochures about the area, to novels and thrillers to keep you occupied during those rainy nights.
Named after an old soldier who used to lodge here at the turn of the twentieth century, The Armoury is a twin bedded room peacefully located at the back of the house overlooking the grassy churchyard. A private bathroom with huge, original roll top bath is situated next door. Provided solely for the use of guests staying in The Armoury, the whole suite can be curtained off from the rest of the house for absolute privacy. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, along with an ample supply of fresh milk, cookies and sweets. Complimentary sherry and Lindisfarne Mead is also available.
Keith and Annette Monnelly welcome you to their lovingly restored, non-smoking, old vicarage built in 1690, located in a peaceful situation next to the thirteenth century churchyard of St Mary’s C of E Parish Church.
On arrival, weather permitting, you may like to recharge you batteries with a pot of coffee or tea in our private, enclosed garden at the front of the house.
