The Queensbury Hotel Information

Description

This splendid 1815 Grade II Listed hotel is centrally located in sea-front Regency Square opposite Brighton’s West Pier and the i360, 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the Conference Centre, restaurants and shops and, with easy parking, the Queensbury is one of the most popular hotels in Brighton. Superior Rooms are more spacious, located on either ground, 1st or 2nd floors with original high ceilings retaining 19th-century features and chandeliers. Two Superior rooms have sea views and one has a balcony. Standard Rooms are fully en suite and located between the 1st and 4th floors with the exception of the Standard Quads which are located on the lower ground floor. All Standard Triples enjoy a view of the sea. Regret no lift in this Grade II* listed building. The Basic Twin rooms have a wash basin and a shower enclosure and are located on the lower ground floor, they share a WC just along the corridor. All guests enjoy free wi-fi, Freeview TV, gels, shampoos and hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. Continental Breakfast is included in the price and a full English breakfast is available at the Regency Restaurant just across the square for which we can provide vouchers at a discounted price of £5. Parking - Free on-street parking is available between 20:00 and 09:00 but 24-hour off-street parking is available underneath Regency Square at a cost of £18 per 24 hours. A colleague can offer limited off-street parking at £10 per night which can be reserved directly with the hotel. Please note: a) The hotel does not accept stag or hen parties or other potentially rowdy groups b) There is no lift in this Listed Building c) To confirm the reservation a deposit of the cost of the 1st night will be debited from the card provided. Please see our 48-hour cancellation policy for more details.

Accessibility

We regret we do not have a lift in the hotel due to the listed nature of the 200 year old building. There are about six steps up to the front door and entrance hall off which we have a ground floor Superior Double room. Guests who particularly require this room should request Room No 15. Rooms on the lower ground floor, (Superior Quads and Standard Twins), are accessed via a single staircase of about 14 steps and with a handrail.
